Chrysalis Vineyards

Nestled between the Bull Run and the Blue Ridge Mountains in Loudoun County, VA, the land is breathtaking and called for a sustainable approach to the design. We used renewable materials, natural ventilation and adequate shading to keep the carbon footprint to a minimum.  The bottom level is a production creamery where estate cows produce cream for milk and cheese. The ground floor and 2nd level was designed for a transient, indoor-outdoor fluctuation allowing for visitors to soak up the atmosphere.
